AHS "FRIENDS OF MUSIC" BAND BOOSTERS

AHS Band Boosters is a registered non-profit which provides financial, organizational, logistical and personnel support to our school's bands. Okay, so we're primarily a group of parents out there having fun supporting our kids and a GREAT music program, but our support truly is essential to the AHS Music Department. We play a big part in making it possible for our bands to perform at concerts, parades, adjudicated festivals, football games, school events, community events, field show competitions, and drumline/colorguard competitions.

Are you a family member of an AHS Band member? Well, here's some exciting news: you're a Band Booster too! For the rest of you feeling a little left out, you'll be happy to find out that you TOO can join in the fun! For the 2007-2008 school year we will also be offering Booster memberships to anyone willing to make a minimum donation of $5. So, what do you get for your donation? Well, of course, you get the satisfaction of knowing that you are a supporter of fine arts and of the youth in our community. In addition to that good feeling ... we offer six levels of support, each with its own rewards. Check it out, and then get your check out! (PLEASE!)

(Please note that the Band is now going to a music festival in San Francisco in the spring, rather than to Boston. The brochures were printed when we thought we were headed to Boston, but the fundraising required for Boston made it beyond our reach.)

Booster Meetings are held the first Thursday of every month.
